The top three teams in college hockey are from Michigan.

The latest U.S. College Hockey Online poll was released Monday afternoon, and Michigan State, Western Michigan and Michigan are at the top.

The top-ranked Spartans (3-1) received 29 of 50 first-place votes and are coming off a two-game sweep over previous No. 1 Boston University on the road. They earned a 4-2 victory Thursday and won Friday 4-3 in overtime after surrendering a two-goal lead in the third period.
