SAMMAMISH, Wash. — A stunning move for one of Washington state’s top high school football programs: Skyline’s head coach has been “temporarily relieved of his duties.”
The Issaquah School District made that decision just hours before last week’s game.
Skyline head football coach Peyton Pelluer spoke with KING 5 earlier this season after his team defeated rival Issaquah High in a thrilling 28–21 victory.
“Just make sure we’re doing everything we possibly can to win the game. All four phases, sidelines, offense, defense, special teams. And our guys strained, they played their tails off,” Pelluer said in an interview on Sept. 19.
