ISSAQUAH, Wash. — A deadly crash led to a road closure in Issaquah early Tuesday morning.

The crash took place just north of the downtown area at around 2:30 a.m.

At least one person has died.

It appeared the driver collided with a pillar below the Interstate 90 overpass on Front Street. It's uknown if there was anyone else in the car.

Eastside Fire and Rescue responded to the accident scene.

Front Street North at the I-90 underpass will remain closed while law enforcement investigates. Drivers are asked to find alternate routes for their morning commute.
