BEXLEY, Ohio — Police are investigating after a man was found dead following a reported shooting in Bexley on Monday evening.

According to Chief Gary Lewis, a woman flagged down an officer around 5:10 p.m. after she reportedly found a body in the 500 block of North Cassady Avenue.

The officer found a man's body in the bushes behind an apartment complex, Lewis said. He said the victim had been shot and the incident is being investigated as a homicide.

It's unclear what led up to the incident. There is no information on a suspect.
