This morning brings quick-moving clouds and a weak shower chance before sunrise (mainly north), as a cold front dips across the state. Temperatures are cooling and should reach the upper 40s at sunrise, during the morning rush hour, as skies clear. A breezy start, too! Be sure to have a light jacket or windbreaker and your sunglasses in hand.

This afternoon, clouds will quickly gather again, as a trough (elongated area of low pressure) swings across the state. This will generate gusty winds, a few clouds and a spotty shower chance. Rainfall will be light but winds could exceed 35 mph at times (no advisory at this time). Afternoon highs should reach the lower 60s in your hometown...which is seasonal for this time of the year.
