Brandon Graham had the grand exit that so many professional athletes say they want.

It actually started the year before down in Tampa after the Eagles’ epic 2023 collapse ended with a first-round playoff loss to the Buccaneers.

“If the Eagles want me to do it one more time, I would love to be here for another year," Graham told reporters as he stood inside a somber losing locker room. “It will be my farewell tour next year. Fifteen (years). I’ll be done (after) next year.”

We now know, of course, that it was anything but a farewell tour.

Vic Fangio , then the Eagles’ first-year coordinator, made it clear early last season that he wasn’t really interested in Graham blowing kisses to the crowd as he said goodbye.
