LAKE CITY, Fla. (WCJB) - Lake City residents are getting ready for their homecoming parade this Friday.

Police say drivers should give themselves extra time due to road closures.

The route will go north along Marion Avenue, then turn west onto Washington Street before ending at Memorial Stadium.

Participants will start lining up at 1:00 and the parade starts at 3:00.
