Jaisalmer, Oct 21: Tension gripped the town of Mohangarh in Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer district after two bodies were discovered in a pool of blood early Tuesday morning, triggering shock and fear among locals. The victims, identified as grain trader Madanlal and his accountant Revantram, were found dead near Madanlal’s shop, roughly six kilometres from the Mohangarh Mandi.

The gruesome discovery was made by a local priest, Poker Puri, who was returning from his morning prayers at a nearby Hanuman temple. "I came to wish Madanlal a Happy Diwali and saw several goats near his shop. When I tried to shoo them away, I saw the bodies and immediately called the police," he said.
