Two further arrests have been made in the investigation into the death of Ian Watkins in prison.

The Lostprophets singer, a convicted child sex abuser, was killed in an attack at HMP Wakefield earlier this month.

West Yorkshire Police said Watkins, 48, was allegedly 'seriously assaulted' and was pronounced dead on October 11.

The disgraced rock star was serving a 29-year sentence for child sex offences.

Rashid Gedel, 25, and Samuel Dodsworth, 43, both of HMP Wakefield, have been charged with murder over his death.

They appeared at Leeds Crown Court last week where both men were remanded in custody until their next appearance at the same court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on November 12.
