AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) - Gunfire in Akron left one man with two gunshot wounds and another man grazed by a bullet while sitting on the couch inside one of at least three homes shot up on Monday evening, police confirmed.

Akron police said officers were sent to the intersection of Seiberling Street and Canadian Avenue for a shooting at approximately 9:03 p.m. on Oct. 20.

Officers arrived to find a 21-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds in his leg and shoulder, according to APD Lt. Michael Murphy.

Murphy said officers used a torniquet on the victim until paramedics arrived to take him to a local hospital.

His injuries were non-life-threatening, according to Murphy.
