ST. PAUL, Minn. — Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison has announced his plans to run for reelection.
Ellison posted a campaign video making the announcement on social media Tuesday morning.
In the video, Ellison touts fighting against landlords and the fossil fuel industry, as well as the many lawsuits his office has filed against various actions by President Trump.
The Minnesota DFL released a statement in support of Ellison’s decision to run, saying:
“At a time when half of our country’s politicians ignore problems for their own convenience, Keith Ellison stands out.
