North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP are looking for Norman Lecoy and his six-year-old grandson Zidane Wavey.

The duo were reported missing on Oct. 17.

Lecoy was last see in the Cowichan Valley on Sept. 19 and Wavey is believed to be with him.

Lecoy, 42, is described as an Indigenous man, five-foot-seven, with black hair and brown eyes. He is from the Winnipeg, Manitoba area and may be travelling there.

Six-year-old Wavey is an Indigenous male with brown hair and brown eyes.

"Police are concerned for their health and well-being," said a press release issued on Oct. 19 by the North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP.

Those with information are asked to contact their local police, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
