The BBC have confirmed the future of Amandaland as the sitcom’s creators said that ‘it’s an absolute joy’ that two Absolutely Fabulous stars are reuniting

Premiering earlier in the year, Amandaland is a spin-off of the popular comedy Motherland, which aired from 2016 until 2022.

The series saw Hot Fuzz actress Lucy Punch reprising the role of Amanda as she navigates parenting teenagers in new surroundings after downsizing and moving to South Harlesden in London following her divorce.

Consisting of six episodes, the series also stars Absolutely Fabulous' Joanna Lumley as Amanda’s mum Felicity Sanderson

With fans desperate for more episodes, it was confirmed by the BBC on Tuesday evening (October 21) that a Christmas special of Amandaland is on the way.
