Srinagar- A fierce fire broke out late Monday night in the densely populated Bana Mohalla area of Fateh Kadal, Srinagar, destroying six residential-cum-commercial buildings and leaving multiple families homeless, officials said on Tuesday.
According to authorities, the emergency call late at night, prompting fire tenders from several stations to rush to the scene. After intense firefighting efforts, the blaze was finally brought under control, though the damage was extensive.
“Six buildings, mostly double and triple-storied, were completely gutted on the upper floors.
