SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Two people were arrested after an investigation into a stabbing that sent one person to the hospital.

On Monday, Oct. 20, Sioux City officers found and arrested 24-year-old Tariq Thomas and 34-year-old Mariah Thomas at 2651 S. Lyons Avenue.

This comes after an ongoing investigation into a stabbing that took place on Saturday, Oct. 11. at about 6:20 a.m.

As previously reported, first responders received reports of an individual, covered in blood, walking in the 5900 block of Morningside Avenue in Sioux City.

The person, now identified as 24-year-old Saville Thomas, was found with stab wounds and taken to a nearby hospital and then transferred to a hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. When pol
