TWINSBURG, Ohio — The city of Twinsburg reports that I-480 has reopened in all directions after a fallen power line closed the interstate on Tuesday afternoon.

"Interstate 480 has now reopened in both directions," the city posted on Facebook at 3:15 p.m. "Thank you to all residents and motorists for your patience and cooperation while crews worked to resolve the issue. We appreciate your understanding and assistance during today’s closure."

At approximately 1:31 p.m., Twinsburg officials posted that I-480 is currently closed in both directions between the Route 91 and Route 82 ramps due to a power line failure over the roadway. The city says it is coordinating with ODOT and Ohio Edison to repair the damaged line.
