HENDERSON, Ky. (WEVV) — A public safety alert has been sent out for someone who has escaped from the Henderson County Detention Center area.

Authorities are looking for Timothy Oliver, who has escaped on foot.

He is described as a white man wearing blue jeans, a grey shirt with "Trustee" printed on it, a ball cap, and possibly a tan or orange outfit.

He is listed as 5'10", weighing 200 pounds, with blond hair and a possible mustache.

Kentucky State Police are on the scene to investigate. If you see him, contact Henderson 911 at 270-827-8700.

Henderson County Schools were placed on lockdown as a precautionary measure, but the lockdown has since been lifted.
