RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) — Saturday, Oct. 25 is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day and several localities in Central Virginia are hosting events to make sure old prescriptions don’t end up in the wrong hands.

Find a drop-off location in your area:

1. Go to the Drug Enforcement Administration’s website

2. Enter your ZIP code, county or city

3. Hit submit

You’ll then see various places near you that will be accepting your medications between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
