PITTSBURGH, Pa. (BLACK AND GOLD NATION) — The Steelers will be without one of their captains for the rest of the season. Miles Killebrew is out for the year, according to Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin.
Killebrew's surgery on his knee was successful, per Tomlin. He sustained the injury on Oct. 12 against Cleveland.
"Our heart aches for Miles," Tomlin said. "Obviously, he's a significant component of what we do, particularly in the special teams space."
Killebrew has been one of the best players in the NFL on special teams, earning All-Pro honors back in 2023. He's also been selected to the Pro Bowl over the past two years.
Many players and coaches believe that it doesn't take just one person to replace what Killebrew brings to the Steelers.
