D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser is solidifying her legislative priorities for the rest of the year — and continuing the crackdown on youth crime is one of them.

In a letter to the D.C. Council sent on Tuesday, Bowser shared a brief list of her administration's priorities. First on that list is the Juvenile Curfew Emergency Amendment Act of 2025, the piece of emergency legislation that changed the curfew law over the summer and increased enforcement in designated areas.
