Frank Lampard was delighted with the way his Coventry City players performed at both ends of the pitch to secured a superb 2-1 victory at Portsmouth.

The Sky Blues boss was particularly pleased with the way they adapted to a changed shape, playing with a back three and wing-backs with Luke Woolfenden making his first start and Ellis Simms coming in for the rested Haji Wright and setting up both goals for Brandon Thomas-Asante who took his goal tally to eight, maming joint leading scorer in the Championship with Wright.
