A violent summer home invasion in Talbot County has led to four arrests — including two teens — after investigators tracked down the suspects behind an armed robbery that shook a quiet Maryland neighborhood.
Maryland State Police announced the arrests of Imari Jackson, 22, of Hurlock, Aamad Turner, 19, of Easton, and two teens — a 15-year-old from Hurlock and a 17-year-old from Cordova — in connection with the Aug. 13 armed robbery at a residence in Trappe.
Officials said the 17-year-old is being charged as an adult.
Investigators said that around 8:23 p.m., troopers from the Maryland State Police Easton Barrack were called to the home for a report of an armed robbery.
According to police, four armed individuals forced their way into the residence and stole several items, including a firearm, clothes, and a wallet belonging to the tenants.
The victims were home during the robbery but were not injured.
Detectives from the Criminal Enforcement Division’s Eastern Region took over the case and later identified the suspects as Jackson, Turner, and the two teens.
Early on Tuesday, Oct. 21, officers executed search and seizure warrants at four homes, where they recovered three guns, ammunition, and stolen property linked to the robbery.
Jackson, Turner, and the 17-year-old were each charged with:
- Home invasion;
- First-degree burglary;
- Armed robbery;
- First-degree assault;
- Related offenses.
All three are being held at the Talbot County Detention Center pending their initial appearances.
The 15-year-old suspect is being held at a juvenile detention facility.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
