CLEVELAND — Tuesday night marks the first time NBA games will be airing on WKYC since 2002, if you can believe it. And we are back this season with a vengeance, because NBC and its streaming platform Peacock will be airing 100 regular season games. They'll also be broadcasting All-Star Weekend and playoff games as well.

The Cavaliers will be represented in this "NBA on NBC" renaissance. They'll appear on air and on Peacock for several games this season, though not as many as I'd have preferred, but I'm an unrepentant homer.

For those of us of a certain age, it's just great seeing these two mega-corporations getting the band back together again. NBC previously acted as our primary NBA content delivery system between the years 1990 and 2002, and we have no shortage of nostalgia for that
