Shopian, Oct 21 : J&K Police has solved a theft case by arresting 02 accused persons involved in the commission of crime in Shopian and recovered stolen property from their possession.

A case FIR No. 31/2025 under relevant sections of law was registered at Police Station Imamsahab on the written complaint of Shri Nazir Ahmad Ganai, resident of DK Pora, stating therein that during the intervening night, some unknown thieves had stolen several apple crates from his premises.

Acting promptly on the complaint, a special team was constituted. Through meticulous investigation and technical analysis, the team succeeded in identifying and apprehending two accused persons involved in the theft.

They have been identified as Mohd Altaf Bakshi, son of Mohd Afzal Baks
