In a significant action against fugitives evading the law, Ganderbal Police has traced and nabbed 02 more absconders who were evading arrest since 05 years.

The arrested individuals have been identified as; Mohd Saleem Sheikh S/O Mohmad Ramzan Sheikh and Mst. Rehana Begum W/O Mohd Saleem Sheikh, both residents of Panzipora Sopore, involved in Case FIR No. 47/2021 U/S 420, 34, 201/IPC.

The accused persons were apprehended by Ganderbal Police during a special operation and were produced today before the Hon’ble Court Addl.Special Mobile Magistrate Ganderbal for further legal proceedings.

Ganderbal Police reiterates its commitment to bring all absconders and offenders of law to justice and maintain peace, order, and accountability in the district.
