WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Police are investigating after a United States Postal Service worker was robbed of packages they were delivering in Woodbridge on Monday afternoon.

According to the Prince William County Police Department, a postal carrier was delivering mail in the 14700 block of Dodson Drive when a masked stranger approached their vehicle shortly before 12:15 p.m.

Investigators say the stranger implied he was armed and stole several packages from the truck before leaving in an older white sedan.

No weapon was seen during the robbery, and no injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a man standing just under six feet tall and weighing around 175 pounds with a thin build.
