WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Police are investigating after a 14-year-old boy was robbed while playing basketball in Woodbridge on Monday afternoon.

According to the Prince William County Police Department, a 14-year-old boy and a friend were playing basketball on courts in the 14900 block of Enterprise Lane. Around 3:30 p.m., two boys, believed to be in their mid-to-late teens, approached the courts.

At some point, one of the two suspects reportedly grabbed the 14-year-old's backpack and began to walk away. When the teen followed, the suspect allegedly took out a gun.

The two suspects got away with the backpack before police arrived. A police K-9 searched the area, but the two suspects were not located.

No injuries were reported.
