GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - Progress continues on the Epic Discovery Center in Grand Island as the outside of the building takes shape.
Board President Kelly Henry shared an update saying the children’s museum’s capital campaign is now 77% funded.
She said this is a testament to the incredible generosity of supporters and the power of the community.
The group hopes for continued partnerships to raise more than $3 million to reach their final fundraising goal of $14.2 million in 2025.
Construction is expected to wrap up around November, when the keys will be handed over to the museum’s exhibit fabricators, marking a major milestone in bringing the EPIC vision to life, the museum shared online.
The nonprofit is hoping to bring learning to life for youth and families in central Nebraska
