HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - The Hastings Police Department arrested a 30-year-old father on charges of first-degree sexual assault and incest.

Local4 is not naming the suspect to protect the identity of the victim.

Police arrested the man early Tuesday morning after receiving a tip Monday through the Department of Health and Human Services tip hotline.

The investigation led to the arrest of the six-year-old victim’s father.
