We are starting to get a few degrees above average as our winds become more and more southerly. That's the biggest change we've seen on the Western Slope today, as well as tomorrow. Wednesday's high will be 71°! That's 7° above our average. Sunshine continues with no boost of moisture throughout the day. During the evening, a low-pressure system moves up from the southwest and right over the Western Slope.
I expect rain here in Grand Junction to begin early morning on Thursday, and last throughout the day. Rain will be the expectation for us in the valleys, although snow will be possible around 9000 feet and up. So, if you're heading east along I70 Friday morning, there could be traffic concerns.
