The rocky relationship between Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton and former quarterback Russell Wilson spilled into public view Sunday when Wilson, now with the Giants , responded sharply on social media to Payton’s postgame comments.

When asked about winning close games after the Broncos’ 33-32 come-from-behind victory, Payton took an indirect shot at Wilson, stating he was hoping the Giants would have made the change to Jaxson Dart after the Broncos had played them. Dart finished the game completing 15 of his 33 passes for 283 yards, three touchdowns, and an interception.
