A chaotic scene at a Glade Park reservoir led to a high-speed chase and eventual arrest of a suspect on child endangerment changes.
The suspect, Nathaniel Adam Casper, 30, of Grand Junction, was arrested after he fled from multiple agencies including Mesa County Sheriff’s deputies U.S. Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management.
Mesa County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area around 5 p.m. Monday for a report of a a disturbance caused by a male in the area of Fruita Reservoir Three.
A ranger with the US Forest Service found a male near a car located in bushes off of MS Road in Glade Park. An infant was found in the car and the male appeared to be of an altered mental state.
