LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- In June, Clark County District Commissioner Tick Segerblom made a social media post and said upgrades to the Desert Inn Road tunnel would take 120 days; however, 135 days later, the work continues.

“Well, the original timeframe was for 120 days of materials notice to proceed, which allowed the contractor to acquire all the specialty lighting fixtures, all of the components, all of the conduit that required to upgrade the entire infrastructure,” Clark County Construction Project Manager Jonathan Morales said. “So this project was slated to be wrapped up in December, which is still on track to be completed.”
