Allan Hancock College is inviting thrill-seekers of all ages to experience the chills and screams of Frightmare Forest, the annual haunted maze fundraiser hosted by the men’s basketball team.
Returning for its highly anticipated run on Oct. 24, 25, and 31 from 7 to 10 p.m., Frightmare Forest promises an expanded layout, new props and spine-tingling surprises set within a three-acre maze next to the college’s vineyard at 800 South College Dr. in Santa Maria.
“This year’s Fear Forest is going to be a little bit different,” said Shemarr Parker, assistant men’s basketball coach. “We have a new structure over at the baseball and softball complex which allows us to have more space to scare, pop out and cover more of the venue.”
