SILVER SPRING, Md. — Montgomery County police are asking for the public’s help as they search for a missing non-verbal teen with autism.

Keylijah Love Paulet Holt, 15, was last seen around 6:30 p.m. today in the 8600 block of 16th Street in Silver Spring.

She was reportedly wearing blue jeans, a blue jean shirt, and brown boots when she disappeared.

She is 5-feet, four inches tall, and 140 pounds.

If you see her, call 911.

When engaging a person with autism, it is important to approach them calmly and slowly. Avoid making sudden movements or loud noises that may startle them. Speak in a gentle, reassuring tone, even if the person does not respond verbally. Most importantly, wait for police to arrive.
