Tonight provides a few scattered downpours early on before skies clear after midnight. Some downpours early on could produce small hailstones due to very low freezing levels above us. Temperatures will quickly drop after the sun set with mostly clear skies as we head back into the upper 30s. With wind gusts from the west gusting as high as 25 mph overnight, wind chill values will dip back into the upper 20s.
Wednesday will be a bit of a split forecast, with clouds expected in the northern half of our region, with more sunshine farther south. Regardless of where you are, we have both a chilly and a breezy day on tap with highs only in the low to mid 50s and wind gusts of 25 to 35 mph which will make it feel like the low to mid 40s even in the afternoon!
