NICHOLAS COUNTY, WV (WVNS) -- A paving project is expected to cause traffic delays in part of Nicholas County.

According to a press release from the West Virginia Division of Highways, from Tuesday, October 21, 2025 through Friday, November 7, 2025 a paving project will take place on WV 41, (Webster Road) from US 19 to County Route 10 (Silo Road), from milepost 17.58 to 20.52.

The press release stated that people traveling in the area are advised to expect "significant delays" and are encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid the work zone. The paving project could be affected by unplanned circumstances or inclement weather.
