FAIRLEA, WV (WVNS) -- The West Virginia University Jazztet will be performing at the West Virginia Building on the State Fairgrounds in a School of Swing event.

It's an hour long interactive performance presented in partnership between the Manchester Craftsmen's Guild Jazz and the WVU Jazztet.

Keith Jackson, the Philip J. Faini/Falbo Family Dean of the College of Creative Arts and Media at WVU, said this performance will be incredibly involved.

"With the idea that you're bringing jazz - America's classical music as many would say - to schools. But not just performing, you are performing, but you're also teaching about the music and the culture. So, it's actually much more comprehensive than a standard come in, play, and leave type of event," said Jackson.
