MOORHEAD — There's a good reason as to why the Moorhead Park Christian football team looks to Logan Giese as its workhorse.

It's because the junior running back/receiver is prone to finding the end zone.

Giese entered Tuesday's Minnesota Section 8, Class A quarterfinal game with a team-leading 13 touchdowns. He exited the game with two more, leading Park Christian to a 14-6 home playoff win over Polk County West.

It was a milestone win of sorts for the Falcons — their first playoff victory since making the move to 11-player football this season.

"It's huge honestly," said Giese, who finished the night with 41 rush yards on 19 carries. "I did not think we were going to be this good coming into 11-man, but I think it's turned out well and I think we have a good chance at going far."
