WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — For nearly two decades, Lake Joy Trails of Terror has been known for its screams in Central Georgia . This Halloween, those scares come with a purpose.
Thirteen-year-old Ja’Ziyah Robinson is at the center of this year’s haunted trail, bringing laughter and light to a place designed to frighten.
Robinson is battling synovial sarcoma, a rare form of cancer. Amid the fog and flickering lights of the trail, she said her condition doesn’t define her.
“Cancer doesn’t define me,” Robinson said.
Her presence transforms the trail into more than just scares. Organizers say a portion of every ticket sold goes toward Robinson’s medical expenses, turning fun into meaningful support.
