A major UK supermarket has urgently recalled £1.60 salad cream over health fears. Morrisons has pulled bottles off the shelves after discovering one batch could pose dangers to those with egg and mustard allergies.

Morrisons said: "Supplier has incorrectly labelled a quantity of stock with Savers Tomato Ketchup 450g back labels. This means that egg and mustard allergens present in the salad cream are not declared and the product therefore poses a possible allergy health risk.

"If you have purchased this product, please do not eat it and return it to us for a full refund. We don’t need a receipt." Morrisons added: "No other products are affected by this issue.
