CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Cleveland State University plans to maximize its downtown location by requiring nearly all undergraduate degree programs to include applied learning experiences by 2030, CSU President Laura Bloomberg.
“We are in a downtown environment,” Bloomberg said Tuesday, during her State of the University address, adding that students can walk to Sherwin Williams or other companies for internships and other learning opportunities.
Bloomberg also said she was excited about a student art gallery for the public to view their work at Playhouse Square. There hasn’t been a dedicated, permanent space for art students and local artists in several years, she said.
