Job Point earlier in October submitted an application to establish a charter school in Boone County. Its letter of intent and prospectus recently were approved.
Job Point received word Oct. 9 from the Missouri Charter Public School Commission about the approval and announced the status update in an Oct. 16 blog post .
This was just the first step in lengthy process. If everything is approved, Job Point could establish its workforce development charter school in 2028, said President and CEO John Scalise.
