A programme offering free food and activities for children over the school holidays will run during a half term for the first time this month. Bring it on Boro is back in Middlesbrough throughout the October break.
Part of the national Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme, Bring it on Boro has already supported thousands of children to make friends and try new experiences during the Easter, summer and Christmas holidays. The extension into half terms in October, February and May was made possible thanks to a £250,000 investment from the Middlesbrough Priorities Fund, led by Mayor Chris Cooke.
The funding ensures that the popular sessions - which include sports, trips out and experiences - can be delivered by local community groups, schools and sports clubs across the whole yea
