An investigation is ongoing, officials said, after four men were hurt in a drive-by shooting that happened in Dover, Delaware on Monday night.

According to police, officers responded to a report of a shooting at about 7:54 p.m. on Monday, along the 100 block of Mifflin Road, to find four men what had been hurt in a shooting.

The men -- two 18-year-olds, a 21-year-old and a 23-year-old, all from Dover, Del. -- told police they were at a residence on the block when an unknown vehicle drove by and the individual, or individuals, inside fired several times, injuring the men, officials said.

All of the men, police said, were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
