A drive-by shooting on the night of Monday, Oct. 20, left four people injured in Dover.
Police responded to a report of a shooting near the 100 Block of Mifflin Road just before 8 p.m., Dover Police said in a press release two days later. There, they found four young men with gunshot wounds.
Two 18-year-olds, one 21-year-old and another 23-year-old were all in a residence on the same block, police said, east of downtown Dover.
But there was no shooter to be found.
Further investigation found that a still-unknown vehicle drove by, police said, and the driver or drivers shot several times in the direction of the residence. All four victims were transported to Bayhealth Kent Campus for treatment, though police did not speak to their condition in the release.
