A Connecticut State Police cruiser and and Enfield police car were both hit while on the scene of a car fire on Tuesday night.

Troopers and Enfield police responded to a car fire on Interstate 91 South near exit 42.

While on scene, state police said a vehicle collided into a state police cruiser and an Enfield police car.

Both the trooper and the police officer were out of their cars at the time, according to state police.

No injuries were reported.
