For the remainder of today in the Evansville area, we're highlighting elevated fire weather conditions. This is due to low relative humidity values expected to mix down to between 20 and 30 percent, combined with wind gusts that could reach up to 25 miles per hour at times. This combination means it will be especially important to be cautious with any outdoor burning or ignition sources.

Looking ahead, we're also tracking the possibility of fog development, particularly across the northern parts of our viewing area. This is something we will closely monitor for Thursday and especially Friday morning. As we move into the weekend, we'll see rain chances begin to increase.
