EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — The Evansville Thunderbolts are gearing up for a big weekend, starting with a game at Quad City on Friday then they'll celebrate their SPHL title at their home opener on Saturday at the Ford Center.

The Thunderbolts are coming off a thrilling 3-2 shootout victory against the Birmingham Bulls, with standout performances from Aidan Litke and Jordan Simoneau.

Fans can catch Friday's game against the Storm online or on the Mixlr Channel.

Saturday's home opener will celebrate the Thunderbolts' 2024-25 President’s Cup Championship, with a special banner-raising ceremony.
