CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Customers can pick up a free eight-count nugget at Chick-fil-A locations in the Charlotte area, beginning Wednesday.

The offer is only available through the Chick-fil-A app, and has to be claimed on Oct. 22. Once it is claimed, the reward will be valid through Wednesday, Oct. 29.

Customers do not have to buy anything to get the free nuggets and can only claim the reward once.

“This offer is our way of saying thank you and inviting our neighbors to enjoy a meal and a moment together,” local Chick-fil-A owner Joe Hatzopoulos said in a news release.
